I started eating a lot of fruits and vegetables since I got pregnant. Fruits and vegetables are rich in fiber and antioxidants. Like for example, carrots are rich in beta carotene that prevents cancer. It also decreases the risk of heart disease and it heightens immune system. Foods like grapefruit, red bell peppers, tomatoes, and watermelon are rich in Licopene that battles cancer. Cauliflower, mushrooms, banana and onions lower blood pressure. The green veggies like broccoli reduce the risk of heart diseases. I love veggies. My meal is not complete without veggies on my plate.
