TAKING CARE OF THE EYES.

Taking care of the eyes. The eyes are your windows to the world. They let you see the things around you. It is therefore important to take good care of them.

Here are ways of taking care of the eyes.

  1. Eat foods rich in vitamin A such as cabbage, squash, milk, cheese, and eggs. Good source of vitamin A comes from yellow foods.
  2. Always read with adequate amount of light to avoid eyestrain.
  3. Avoid the glare of direct strong light.
  4. When strong wind blow. Protect your eyes to keep dust and dirt from entering them.
  5. Always wear sunglasses that offer’s maximum protection from the sun ultraviolet (UV) rays.
  6. If foreign object enter your eyes do not rub them. Flush it out with an eyewash or distilled water. Keep your eyeglasses or contact lens clean
