Some of the food we eat holds naturally occurring substances that can be harmful to us, when it was not cooked and prepared properly. This may lead into food poisoning and other related illnesses that are caused by microorganism. There are different types of bacteria that rapidly multiply if not detected. A simple rule to prevent it, remembered always when handling food is to keep hot food if needed for hot and cold ones keep cold. Contaminated food may not even look different even the smell and taste but if you doubts it, don’t eat it. Bacteria thrive on energy dense food enriched of proteins, water, and nutrients, such as chicken, meat, seafood, diary products, eggs, and even cooked rice. Salmonella SP is the most common bacteria that found in food and can induce severe headache, followed by vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, fever and other symptoms. If not treated immediately it may lead to death if the person severe infected. To reduce the risks of food poisoning take extra precautions, with your food. Make sure that food you prepare and you buy are safe by checking the packing or the freshness of the meat.
