The Cancer Research Institute warned the public to limit cell phone use because of the possible risk of cancer. People are advised to keep the phone away from the head and use probably speaker phone or a headset. This warn against using cell phones in public places such as a bus because it exposes others to the phone’s electromagnetic fields. Cell phones emit energy– it is a type of radiation that is a form of electromagnetic radiation. Some studies are being done to see if there is a link between it and tumors of the brain and central nervous system but there is no exact explanation yet that link between the two. This is just precaution, it is up to the individual.
