How to believe in yourself

Posted by admin on 23rd February 2010

Tips on how to believe in yourself, first it to stop the habit of complaint. That’s a side of unhappiness. Stop complaining: see that you are better than you think you are.

You must stop thinking about your liabilities. You are only human; everyone has liabilities. Think of your compassion, your courage, you will to succeed.

You must stop distrusting yourself. If you don’t believe yourself, why anyone else believe in you.

You must stop ridiculing your own weakness. You are not perfect it is true but if we were perfect anyway, chances are nobody would like to know you. You’d make other people feel inferior. You must keep battling those negative forces inside in you. You must keep fighting for breathing space. Don’t let the forces of unhappiness trap you. You’re a free man-a free woman! Don’t give up your freedom. God gave you life on this earth not to be unhappy. God gave you life so you could fulfill your purpose, so that you could affirm your individuality, so that you could assert your identity. Not so you could fall into the quicksand of unhappiness, living centuries of frustration, endless days of misery. God made us with purpose.

What is the origin and meaning of Valentines Day? In A.D. 270 the emperor Claudius 11 decided that married men made poor soldier because they did not want to leave their families to go war. So he issued a proclamation forbidding marriage. As a result, lovers secretly went to Valentine a Christian bishop, who would marry them. When the emperor heard about this, he brought the bishop before him and attempted to convert him to roman paganism. Valentine in turn unwisely tried to covert Claudius to Christianity and was sentence to death for his imprudence. While in prison, Valentine fell in love with the blind daughter of the jailer. He left her a farewell love note and sign it “ Your Valentine” and he was executed on February 14, some years later the catholic church proclaim him a saint. Stressful day

Posted by admin on 5th February 2010

My life so bored today maybe, stress is always there where ever we go or even at home we can encounter stress. Sometimes when I’m in stage of stress I divert my mind of some good things that happened in my life and change my lifestyle. Maybe stress is a part of our life to help us to grow, mold us to become what we are right now or teach us how to handle it in a calm way. First thing I do if ever I’m in stress, I’ll start my day, especially if my day off by doing something that will help me to relax and put me in a great mood. Like involved into activities like playing basketball, watching movies with my wife or visit my parents at the province. Don’t let personal problem stand in your way of the things that you have done today. You have to put effort into where you see yourself heading in the future. Let go and move forward. Don’t let what other say or do bother you so much, it will only slow you down. You have to look beyond, be original and ignore what’s going on around you.

It’s all about Pizza

Posted by admin on 2nd February 2010

Pizza as we know it today would not have been possible if old world Europeans had not overcome a basic fear of a new world fruit native to Peru and Ecuador. This yellow or red fruit I’m talking about eventually called tomato was though to be poisonous. It wasn’t until the late 600s that Europeans began eating tomatoes. In Spain, tomatoes were still considered poisonous until the middle of the eighteen-century. Modern pizza was born in 1889 when a tavern was asked to prepare a special dish in honor of the English queen visit to Naples. He created a pizza with ingredients that presented the red, white, and green colors of the Italian flag: tomatoes, mozzarella, cheese and basil.
